Terms and Conditions

These terms and contitions concern online store of Artisan Café from 15th of April 2020 onwards. When purchasing at www.artisancafe.fi store the client accepts these terms and conditions.

Ordering & Prices:

You can purchase products at our online store if you are over 18 years old.

The products are ordered from www.artisancafe.fi by adding the products to shopping basket proceeding to checkout. Buying takes place at the checkout of the online store and is directed to the web page of the selected payment method after clicking “Place order”.
All orders are confirmed with an email message which notifies the total price of the order, shipping costs and the ordered products. Receiving the order confirmation email requires giving email address during the order process. The buyer is responsible of giving the information when making the order.

Prices include VAT (Finland). Artisan Café reserves the right to change prices and shipping costs-

Artisan Café reserves the right to cancel the order in case of obvious pricing errors, in other words when the declared price differs significantly from the actual price of the product.
Examples of obvious pricing errors:
– the price is 0,00 € or there is no price at all
– comma mistakes (for example 1,00€ instead of 100€)

Artisan Café reserves the right to cancel the order case by case.

Payment Methods:

The products and shipping costs are paid when placing the order. The payment methods available are: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, LähiTapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Paikallisosuuspankit, Säästöpankit, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Ålandsbanken and credit cards. Payments are facilitated through Checkout Finland Oy site (www.checkout.fi/ehdot-ja-sopimukset/maksuehdot).


Delivery time for our products is normally 1-5 days. We ship our products every Wednesday or Thursday. Orders needs to be submitted on Monday for it to be shipped on the same week. We deliver worldwide. Item tracking can be found at https://www.posti.fi/en/tracking#/?lang=en

The customer can also pick the order up at the Artisan Café store at Vuorikatu 8, 00100 Helsinki. In this case, the customer gets an e-mail when the order is ready to be picked up, usually in 1-2 working days.

Delivery method and shipping costs

Shipping costs include postage and packaging fees. The customer can check the shipping costs after selecting the payment and shipping options. We deliver the orders as packages and letters, where packages have tracking code. More information on shipping methods can be found from http://www.posti.fi/

The guarantee time is shown at the product page. The warranty does not cover product’s normal aging process nor flaws caused by inappropriate use or insufficient maintenance.


Customers inside EU have 14 days, starting from the receiving of the order, to cancel the order and return the goods. The packages have to be unopened and unused to be eligible for returning. Outside EU we don’t accept returns.

We don’t accept returns after 14 days of delivery. Customer is responsible of paying the fees of the return. Payment will be returned to the customers bank account after receiving and accepting the returned package. This normally takes 2-10 working days.

The customer must notify the seller about any issues within 14 days of receiving the order.

Changing the terms and conditions
Artisan Café reserves the right to change the online store, its practices and terms and conditions at any time. The customer has to check the current delivery terms before ordering.

Force Majeure
Artisan Café is not responsible for delays or damages caused by an event of force majeure, extraordinary event or circumstance beyond its control, such as

Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, floods, tornados and fires

Human events, such as wars, riots or other major upheavals

Performance failures such as disruptions in telephone service attributable to the telephone company, labor disputes other than those of the contractual parties, government restrictions, or supplier problems (product unavailable)

Artisan Café is not responsible for indirect damages or damages caused by misuse of products.

Applicable law and possible disputes
These terms and conditions are made by following the Finnish law. Disputes between seller and buyer, unless resolved by negotiations between parties, are resolved in local court of the seller.

If disputes cannot be resolved by negotiations between parties, the matter can be referred to The Consumer Disputes Board (http://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/).
